About the event
The inagural PECAN summit will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers, debates, patient engagement, and discussions on cutting-edge clinical and research topics for PE.
This is a is a CIHR-funded meeting to support a gathering of researchers to advance the management of intermediate and high-risk pulmonary embolism in Canada. This is a planning meeting and the first meeting of our newly formed national group. We have around 30 clinicians and researchers attending from across Canada, as well as patient partners. Our goal is to begin strategic planning for our organization and research activities.
Keynote address: Dr. Rachel Rosovsky, the immediate past-president of the PERT ConsortiumTM.
The PECAN co-chairs will be hosting a social dinner on Thursday evening at 7pm (October 24th) after the conclusion of our conference.
This meeting is also being supported by CanVECTOR and Thrombosis Canada.
